Happy homecoming!

Today Happy left to go to his forever home. We enjoyed him company while we had him but he's moving on to greater things. Good luck wiggly boy!

Happy is dog of the week, and spoken for :)

This is Happy and his name suits him, everything is life is new exciting adventure and he's ready for it! Nothing gets him down and he loves people, likely a velco-dog in the making. Unfortunately for everyone else Dean and Mary met him after his pictures were taken and have decided he is the grey for them so he already has a home but we have many other wonderful and loving dogs looking for their forever homes.

Thanks For Paws!

Yesterday's adoption event at For Paws was a smashing success! We had a great group of people come by to visit with the dogs and most of the crew that came have homes waiting for them now.

We would like to thank Faye and Alessandra at For Paws for being such amazing hosts to us and the greyhounds. Thanks also to Dean and Mary, Stacey and Justin, Lisa and Rob and Dale and Deb for opening your homes to a retired racer! We also appreciated the visits from Alexis and Lil Bit and Rich and Artie, both greyhounds went home only last weekend and are already doing us proud! And it was nice to see Lily with her mom Jen as well.

Between the new greyhound families found and the visits from our alumni with their people it was a wonderful event. Thank you everyone!
